Update: I forgot to include the recent picture of Sam flying the kite today. I added it at the end with another of Julia. My how he's grown!
I am suppose to be working tonight, but I couldn't help but take some time to look through my blog archives to find old pictures of kite flying. We've had this same kite for years so there were bound to be a few.
(I blogged about the day we got it here.) We flew it in 2007, 2008, 2009 and again today. By complete coincidence Julia wore the same boots as she did last year.
But that was then, this is now:

wow!! how do you keep the kite from year to year. We end up buying a few each season. But then again, I do by the $1 ones. We flew kites this passed weekend...oh, so much fun. My 4 year old finally got the hang of it.
I just did a post of then and now called "Look at her go"...it's my most recent post. Enjoy.
BTW, always love your pictures...truly capturing.
So fun! We have a kite too that the girls have been flying. We need to get it out and fly it this spring! This is like a Wednesday's Walk post... you could link it up! :)
Jenney and I talked about "meeting" you and how we found your blog and how you told us how close we lived to each other! She was so sweet. Maybe one day we can all do something!
