What happens when you give hammers to children. - ANSWERED

Earlier in the week I asked if anyone could tell what was going on in the first picture. There were lots of good guesses, but nobody hit the nail on the head. I know what is going on but I had a hint the other day when I was at your house so I will not play along with the contest. I just want to say that the kids really look forward to doing this.

I'm thinking chalk also.

I was going to guess chalk or charcoal. :) both have been guessed already. hmmm... maybe marshmallows but they wouldn't have dust like that... whatever it is, I'm SURE they are having fun!

My guess is either hammering away on limestone or a salt block...some type of mineral block maybe. Looks like fun no matter what it is!
