Signs of summer

Fresh produce from the garden. These radishes were yummy on our salads at dinner last night. Just the right amount of kick.











Kids on the ballfield. It was Sam's first game and he did GREAT. Listened to his coach, hit the ball every time, ran as fast as he could, and hustled to get the ball to first when it came to him. I was so proud! I took a few video clips for PapaBear to watch when we got home. The kids got snacks after the game - sugary sweetness in the form of fruit snacks and capri sun. I wasn't thrilled about all that sugar (and liquid!) right before bed but it's all part of the fun.
