whistle stop

It isn't very often that two of Sam's passions converge in the same place. It happened today though; making it a very special day. Traveling past the farm owned by Brian's cousin was a restored steam locomotive pulling a line of passenger cars.
What better place to see the diesel engine come to pull the classic steamy back to where it came from than perched high in Tim's new blue tractor (no green tractors on this farm).















People from all over the world came to experience this train up close. I haven't seen that many big cameras since...ever. People couldn't help but talk to Sam as he excitedly watched and chattered about the train as it rumbled past, a mere six feet in front of us. The whistle was deafening.





...and then it was gone.

but another adventure awaited...
