Why can't the city test the storm sirens in the morning instead of when my kids are trying to nap? It doesn't help that the thing is 1/4 mile from my house, but still!

they do it at noon here... but it's only one Saturday a month. Our's aren't that loud... by my parents house they are terribly loud and they test them once a week. It can be annoying.

oh i am SO with you on this one. i ask this question EVERY stinkin time they go off!!!! SO ANNOYING!
