Our bags are packed

Now we just need Daddy to get home. Oh...and for Christmas Eve to get here. Can you tell we're just a little excited to sleep over at Grandma and Grandpa's house? They only live 20 minutes away, but there's just something about not having to pack up and drive home at the end of the night. Instead, we're going to snuggle by the fire, sing Christmas songs, read the Christmas story, and listen for the sound of reindeer on the roof.

I've had these suitcases (swiped from one of my mom's garage sales) stored down in the basement for years - waiting for a chance to use them. How fitting that the first time is for Christmas, seeing that they're red and green. :)

I love you!
