I got the Canon Rebel XTi from an Ebay store. Kelly and Jennifer both use Rebels so I knew it would be a good camera. I'm finalizing the details on my new photography business (and blog) so it was high time I upgraded. It was a big purchase for us right now, but it will give us the potential to increase my income. I suppose I should do a complete post on it at some point. We're headed out of town in the morning for our annual camping trip so it'll have to wait. I'll have lots of chances to practice using it with 20 people sitting around the campfire, hiking amongst the beautiful fall colors, eating yummy stew, chili, and of course the required camping food - S'mores. Having 8 young children running around will help too. :)
Nope, I'll still use my point and shoot just about every day. It is handy and the files aren't huge. I have to be sooooo careful with my new one that I won't be able to take it everywhere like my other one. The little one travels in the diaper bag whenever we leave the house.
