There just wasn't room to put four high chairs in my dining room so I've been using these booster chairs on the floor. The kids climb in by themselves and can sit close together. They love them! Unfortunately so does the dog. Even if they've only eaten dry cereal on them I have to wash the tray because it's a given that Conor has licked it clean. They work great for travel too. There was a time when Julia's belly was too big to get the tray latched, but she's thinned out and now has a two inch gap. My baby is shrinking!
I hear ya on the high chair! We put ours in the basement for an open house a couple weeks ago and have yet to bring it back up. I don't miss it a bit.
Really, my three dogs run in fear of anything green.. Although I'm going to try to get them to eat garlic, I found out it's a natural wormer and a natural heart wormer too.

Do you feed your kids on the floor with those portable chairs? Is it easier? I'm sick to death of the big high chair, so I'm open to suggesstions!
