Denver Day 3
What a way to start the day!!! Our hotel had waffle irons available for guests to make themselves fresh waffles every morning. Yum!
Julia's safe from her brother in here.
Her happy place or has Sharon calls it -
JoJo Jail.
"Now THIS is my happy place. Thanks for springing me from my jail Sharon!"
It was too nice out to sit in the hotel waiting for the reception to start so we drove around until we found a park.
Lisa and Olen got married in St. Thomas back in March. Then on June 9th in Arvada, Colorado they hosted the most family friendly wedding reception I've ever been to.
Julia went to bed as soon as we got back to the hotel, but Sam still had enough energy left in him to take a dip in the hotel's heated pool.
Brrrrr! It was cold when we got out!
Better get to bed Sam! There's more fun in store for Day 4.

That cake was so pretty! Don't you just hate staying in hotels away from home? That pack and play reminded me of a time we were over night at a hotel. It's such a pain to have to worry about refrigeration and heating stuff up! But, I agree...the waffles are AMAZING, aren't they? mmmm!
Yes I agree. It is a pain to worry about food for the kids. I don't have allergies to worry about like you do, but I make all of Julia's food so I had to deal with planning out every single meal and having it packaged for travel. Thankfully Julia eats everything cold. How she stomachs that cold porridge and broccoli is beyond me!
The bathroom was big enough that Sam was able to sleep in there - almost his own room. :) Our room adjoined with my in-laws so that made it feel bigger AND we had a place to hang out when the kids were asleep. All in all they did really well there.
