That's Sam's face that you can see on the left. My cousin, Elsie, is sitting behind Sam and her brother, Porter, is in front of Sam. I took that picture two years ago during one of a thousand baths I gave those kids that summer. It was so hot that we'd spend HOURS each day at the beach. I have a picture of the thermometer in the van when it registered 100 degrees. It wasn't fun to deal with sand everywhere when we'd get home, but the relief from the heat made it worth the effort. I get tired just thinking back to when I would take three kids to the beach (Age 4, 2 1/2 and 7 months)
I thought this would be a good picture for today since we have SNOW on the ground in April. It makes me think warm, happy thoughts of the days ahead that we'll spend at the splash pad.
