Having done this 35 times I doubt I need to go over the specifics of how Not Me Mondays work but feel free to head over to my friend MckMama's blog for all the juicy details and more Not Me posts.
I am not blogging when I'm a suppose to be editing photo shoots and making blog books. Nope. Not me!
A cheesy tween movie is not on in the background just so I'm not sitting here in silence. Nope. Not me! We don't watch TV...really we don't - only movies.
Speaking of not watching TV...I was not shaking my head at the radio on the 12th (or was it the 11th?) when the switch to digital took place. People do survive just fine without cable, without regular TV, without DVR (though I miss that part of TV)... you just wouldn't know it by listening to the media.

So I AM getting some stuff done despite my little blogging breaks here and there....
I did not just turn on the video monitor on the off chance that Sam decided to lay down and take a nap after all. (I told him he could play in the play room instead of napping.)
He did not on his own decide to take a nap.
What 4 1/2 year old chooses to lay down and sleep instead of playing?
Not mine!
*** 1/2 hour later****
I have not relocated yet again. Nope. That wouldn't be productive at all! I should park it and stay focused right?
I am not blogging/working/relaxing in the hammock as I type this. Not Me!
I did not ask PapaBear to bring up a box from the basement for me to set my computer in so I could see my screen better. Nope. Not me? If you happen to drive past our campground that's not me sitting with a diaper box on my lap.
Nope.
Just keep on drivin'!
Nothing to see here....
Really!
That's all I got people!
My weeks of LONG Not Me posts are history!
It's back to my simple little life where I call the Sheriff on a regular basis, refill the paper towel in the park bathrooms, run back and forth from the beach three times in one hour to check campers in, grow vegetables in straw bales, exercise in the morning on a piece of equipment I bought off an infomercial four years ago, let my kids stay up until 10pm in order to see Saturn through a telescope, give my kids crackers, almonds & apples and call it dinner.

I love that you give your kids apples, crackers and almonds for dinner. Makes me feel better about popcorn night! :-)
ReplyDeleteThat was great!! Hey, I'm 28 and I still have apples, crackers, and almonds for dinner sometimes (ok, once in awhile I go all out and have popcorn, as well)!!! :) You cover the basic food groups. It's all good!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting, even though you think it's late! It's still fun to read! :)
Hmm, using a box to cover the computer while we "work". LOVE IT! I have been trying to come up with something for when I sit outside with my feets up. Driving by taking note of what you are doing. Done.
ReplyDelete:)
Now I need a hammock...
I love that you wrote this in the hammock.
ReplyDeleteLast night all alex ate for dinner was raspberries and a piece of cheese! She wanted nothing to do with an actual dinner!
ReplyDeleteI am glad you relocated and found a comfy hammock! Sounds relaxing!
Oh I so wish I could get away with not cooking a full meal for supper...unfortunatly I feed 3 males with high metabolisms. That dinner would be a snack for them. I could eat that for dinner every night. I need a girl! Happy camping, thanks for posting!
