Monday is here again and that means it's time for yet another installment of Not Me Monday hosted by my friend MckMama. It feels good to admit the shortcuts I take sometimes, but you didn't hear that from me.
I (didn't) put Julia in a diaper when we were out late on Friday night so I didn't have to find a bathroom.
You (didn't) hear me whisper to Julia to just pee in her diaper so I didn't have to leave a meeting we were in. I would never do that! Not me!
You (didn't) see me use the hood from Julia's sweatshirt to wipe the snot from her nose either. Nope. Not a chance!
And a couple of Mother's Day's Not Me's.....
This beautiful bouquet (and the one from Julia) was (not) my Mother's Day gift.
I (didn't) make the mistake of planting my first garden with the help of two little souls who had to listen to me tell them to go away if they couldn't be quiet while I read the back of the seed packets. Nope. Not me!
Now head on over to My Charming Kids to see what others didn't do this week.
Oh and if you still wanted to enter my latest contest
- today's the last day to enter. I'll draw a winner on Tuesday.
Oh, I "never" used clothing to wipe runny noses either. LOL
ReplyDeleteI just caught up on your post! Great pictures Carrie! :)
ReplyDeleteI so do not remember the days that I would tell children to just "pee" in a diaper because I was driving down the highway without a bathroom in sight! :)
Glad you had a wonderful mother's day!!
I love that picture, Carrie! Such a sweet gift from the kids!
ReplyDeletecute not me's! How about this...I have NOT been wiping my sons snotty nose on my own shirt b/c I'm too lazy to find where I've stashed the kleenex or anything else appropriate to use besides my own clothing! EWWWW...being a mom is so gross sometimes :) I've been using his shirt too though!
ReplyDeletelol I love the hood as a hankie bit. I tend to do that too...when no one is looking. ;)
ReplyDeleteI love your "not me" post...one day, I will do this...I just have to get the hang of it.
ReplyDeleteI "don't" put my son in a pull up so I don't have to find a bathroom...lol when I do this, He just ends up dropping his drawers and peeing wherever he is.
Thanks for always helping me feel like the best mom...lol...and that I'm not alone.

Wait a minute...isn't that what hoods are FOR????
ReplyDeleteNope I've wiped noses with hoods either.
ReplyDeleteI'm with mom24boys! I thought that was why hoods were invented. No? Whoops!
ReplyDeleteGuess I'll have to work on that. Just one more thing to add to my list of improvements...LOL
BEAUTIFUL flowers! Glad you had a GREAT Mother's Day!
ReplyDelete~Elyse
I, also, would never use items of clothing to wipe runny noses. What kind of mother would do that?? ;)
ReplyDelete...don't ya just love the handfulls of flowers offered up? Gorgeous. ...even when the "flower" is considered a weed in other circles.:)
You never know what you will resort to when desperate until you are a mother, right? Great NMM! : )
ReplyDeleteHappy belated Mother's Day.
